FINAL front 2014

Dickens on the Square-where else? McKinney!

Head out to McKinney in the morning, and you will find the
square covered in things to do for kids of all ages! Ton’s of
rides, and entertainment for the little ones and of course
all of my favorite shops are ready to help you with ideas
for gifts! You will see ton’s of glitter, vintage ornaments
and all kinds of unique, non mall type items! The old
lumberyard on the other side of Hwy 5 also has a great flea
market on Saturday as well. Even my friend Vince is there from
Princeton and some items from his great shop GoodLook.
Stop in at Patina Green for a great organic salad or sandwich
and a few chocolates as well as the best iced tea! Grab some of
Robert’s great salsa to take home!
I may even have to go again as there was just too much to see!

off to Salado and Baines House B&B

The Dallas PPA (professional photographers of america)
had it’s annual Little Red Schoolhouse in Salado this
year rather than Waco. I have always loved Salado and
welcomed the opportunity to stay in a B & B there, one
which i have photographed many times from the road…

so there you have some of Baines House, once owned by the
grandparents of Lyndon Baines Johnson!~
still have more photos but here is a start!
Baines House B & B

Santa Fe to be continued…

so many photos from my week in Santa Fe! next
I will show some of the models we shot in
Keith Carters class at Santa Fe Workshops

Santa Fe Workshops

What a wonderful experience Santa Fe Workshops is!
Just got back from 6 days in Santa Fe, studying under
Keith Carter. Had a great time wish I could post all
of my images now but no time… so here is my trip home
stopping along Historic Route 66 plus a few for now
of Santa Fe… highly recommend the school

Adobe.Art.Mountains and flowers…

Just got home from Albuquerque and Taos with a few side trips
along the way! How nice to be in 62-87 degree weather in the
middle of the summer! A nice change from our Texas heat…

Albuquerque taken on the Crest of the mountain, 10,000 + ft up,
then to Truchas and the high road to Taos was such a treat, finding
these galleries and of course a few portraits along the way!
Last are a few in Taos of the adobe shops and beautiful flowers…
can’t wait til next summer!
