Big Tex at the Texas State Fair! Final Day! 10/21

Big Tex, Today is the Last Day! Daughters of the Revolution building, the old Science Place and other photos from my last trip to the Fair! Hope you had as much fun as I !
On my second trip to the fair, I made it to the livestock buildings, the Marilyn Monroe exhibit at the Women’s Museum, and the DAR museum, and the Texas Discovery gardens and the 
butterflies!
My friend from photo club invited me to a class today at the Arboretum, on portraits! What fun we had, and it was a beautiful day! Best of all a mother and daughter came and I was able to shoot a bunch of great photos of this pretty 14year old! The Arboretum is a great place to visit, photograph, take a quick course. Check out their website http://www.dallasarboretum.org as they have seasonal activites all year long! Right now there are pumpkins everywhere and lot’s of fun activites for the whole family~
Plum Creek Primitives Christmas Open House!

My favorite shop in McKinney, is having their annual Christmas open house with all Bonnie’s great finds from up north! Come by from 4-8 pm on October 19 to shop early! 206 E. Louisanna St

Had SO much fun at the Fair, and got so many fun photos! Here are a few more~still gotta go back to get a few of Marilyn Monroe and that exhibit I missed! and the butterflies!
