I’ve been to Utopia . . . or was it Alys Beach?

“Character is what lies beneath the surface…”

It’s hard to believe that a place along a beach could hold so much amazement for me, but it does. After making my reservation to stay in Watercolor, I soon discovered another community along 30A called Alys and quickly became enchanted! I devoured the photos on the website of the beautiful surroundings and parks and couldn’t wait to see it for myself. Disappointed I was not… it is unlike anything I have ever seen, and I can’t wait to return!

Oh Bahamas —How I love Thee…!

I wish I could return to Harbour Island in the Bahamas, but
instead I headed to the Emerald Coast last week with my friend,
Elfriede. Sadly, so did Tropical Storm Karen, so the waters were
not the aquamarine blue I had been dreaming of… but it was
still beautiful just the same! I loved staying at Watercolor Beach

and had fun traveling along 30A taking photos at the beaches along
the way, Seaside, Watercolor, Alys and Rosemary…
